Lead Authorization and Procedural Scheduling Coordinator
Shaynie S. Chatter has been a member of the Spine Institute of Arizona team since October of 2011. She was initially hired as a Medical Assistant, then moved on to become a Surgery and Injection Scheduler. Knowing the process from front to back, Shaynie was promoted to Lead Authorization and Procedural Scheduling Coordinator in 2018. Since then, she has created several new and innovative methods of handling procedure scheduling that alleviates stress on our patients.
Shaynie has been in the medical field for nearly 15 years, previously managing the back office for a Family Practice in Flagstaff, AZ. She has a certificate in Medical Assisting, and associates degree in healthcare administration and is actively pursuing her bachelor’s degree in health administration. Shaynie utilizes her prior experience in the medical field in order to formalize and streamline processes within her department.
In her free time, Shaynie enjoys spending time with her two kids, collecting books, attending concerts, watching documentaries and making time for any sporting event possible – basketball, baseball and football are some of her favorites.
