Prescriptions and Renewals

Regular prescription refills (even if no refills are available) should be requested directly from your pharmacy and please allow 24 to 48 hours for your request to be processed. It is the patient's responsibility to check with their pharmacy to see if the prescription is available for pick up. In addition, due to the high volume of prescription requests we receive; please contact your pharmacy at least one week prior to your prescription running out.

You must have an office visit within a minimum 6 month time period, (sometimes more frequently if doctor requires) to continue to receive refills including maintenance medications.

If your prescription must be written, please call and leave a message with your medical assistant and she will call you when it is ready.

New prescriptions for medication we have not prescribed, or change in medication, will require an office visit.

We have an on-going problem with many pharmacies, in that, we fax them refill authorizations and for unknown reasons, they do not receive them. If your pharmacy tell you that they have not received a response from us and it has been more that 48 hours since your request, please contact our office and leave a message for your medical assistant.

Patient Calls for our Physicians/Medical Assistants:

All patient calls that are not of a life-threatening nature will be transferred to the medical assistant's voicemail. Our M.A.'s will be assisting their doctor with patients and are unable to take calls. If you are returning their call, the appointment desk will do their best to contact the M.A.

Our physicians do not have their own voicemail, all messages must be left with the medical assistant so they may have your chart pulled and collect any information needed prior to the doctor or M.A. returning your call.

All appointments are to be made through the appointment desk. Please do not leave messages regarding appointments on the M.A.'s voicemail unless directed to by one of the front office assistants.

Any request regarding patient records, whether they are copes requested for you or to be faxed to another physician's office, should be left with our medical records department.

Thank you for your cooperation.
